Pizza: Art of Cooking, Day 5. (Intermediate Group)

In Art of Cooking today for the Intermediate class, we started the 5th day with making Pizzas, and a     nutella-strawberry pizza. After everyone got into their teams we started working on the regular pizzas     first.

First we needed to make the dough by pouring yeast into some lukewarm water because as I recently learned, the dough won't form right in super hot or cold water. Then, after mixing them together and let it settle, we poured in the oil. We added in flour and salt and started mixing until the dough was formed. Then we started knead the dough.  Afterwards we rolled the dough into a line and started to cut into around 8 slices and glased them in olive oil. We covered them in a damp towel so that they wouldn't dry out which we learned about when making dumplings.

After a little bit we started cooking topicings, some people cooked onions, mushrooms, and cherry tomatos. While those were being cooked, we started to spread around flour on the table so that we could flatten the dough so we could start forming the pizza. We stretched it around the plate to get a vauge shape of the a pizza. When we were done we glazed the pizzas in oil and placed them on the stove. After they were cooked enough they were flipped again, then we poured sause and cheese on top of the pizza aswell as the respective topings. Overall, the food came out great, and tasted amazing
